And not surprising, adding in JAVASCRIPT as the EOF for the heredoc didn't help. I still see "bin/batterylevel.sh" at the bottom of the screen and then nothing. I also looked at the CSS and HTML for the status bar but didn't see anything obvious that might have changed. Someone with more experience than I have might be able to figure out what the problem is.

Oh! Sadly I discovered this thread only *after* I upgraded to 5.6.5...
I also miss my % bar... Too bad I have not enough development knowledge at hand... I hope you will get something out of this ssholloway...

@hius07: Known issue. Unlikely to be fixed unless someone knowledgable in the proper areas really cares about it.
