If you don't want to track down a device Google Play or iOS likes, then the best solution is to sign up for a free trial. You DO have to set up a payment type; you can cancel on July 1, though, and keep the 31 books in your library (one a day + one free credit).

Whether you go the the individual pages (they all say click here to download) or d/l from my direct links you right-click and say "save target as."

If you go to the "site" link in skinmaan's post and then right click on the "here" link (where it says 'Click here to download') you should get an option something like 'save link as' or 'save target as' depending on the browser you use.

This seems to be the default location that the Audiobooks.com app uses. On many Android devices, /sdcard points to internal storage, and I don't know how you would make it point to an actual SD card if you put one in. The directory should be visible from a file manager such as ES File Explorer or File Expert, or from a computer when you connect with a USB cable.

I am not a fan of fiction, so I know little about books like the following ones. Maybe they're good ones, I dunno. I do know that they have very high ratings, that a lot of people have reviewed the books (=there are a lot of readers of them?), and that the series is a USA Today Bestseller series.

Most importantly (in my way of thinking at least. ha.), the Whispersync deals are extremely cheap. I run across extremely cheap ones occasionally, but most of the time the ebooks/audiobooks are very short. The following books, however, are not short, and so the length of the audio of both of them is not short.

Anyway, I ran into these deals (it didn't hurt, they're digital. ha.) a little while ago and thought that I would pass along the information about them to you. The author of all of the books is Denise Grover Swank. The series is called the "Off the subject" series (Note that it is not the "Off Topic" series, otherwise I would not be allowed to post it on this thread. ha.).

After Math: Off the Subject #1. The Kindle ebook is $0.99 (temporary markdown), the Whispersync companion is $1.99. So, the whole Whispersync deal is only $2.98. Amazon webpage.

Redesigned: Off the Subject #2. Kindle ebook $0.00 (temporary markdown?). Whispersync audio $1.99. Total $1.99. Amazon webpage.

The price of the audio alone, at Audible, is $17.95 for each book.

I will mention #3 in the series, although it does not have a Whispersync companion. It's Business as Usual: Off the Subject #3. It's been published only about a year, so maybe there yet will be a Whispersync deal forthcoming for it one of these days. Kindle ebook $0.99 (temporary markdown).
