HD+ Battery issue?
My daughter was using my HD+ this morning and run the battery completely flat. Now it just has a black screen with a battery symbol in the middle. The orange charging light is on, but its been like this for over an hour with no change. Shouldn't it at least be turning on by now?
I am getting very nervous.....

Panic over... its working now *phew*

When it runs that flat, it does take longer to charge.

Also, I don't know your daughter, but mine is 8 and she is a game maniac, always downloading really bizarre free games, some of which will run the battery down fast, just running in the background. So I use a couple of things, my favorite being Advanced Task Killer. Plus I will go through the apps and disable the auto update on most of them.

Batteries have some circuitry to protect them against going too low on voltage, which could damage them. As a result, when too low, the device won't boot until the battery has gone above some minimum voltage level.
