Thanks, Harry. I've bought the first five. Note that the first one, Postmortem, is in their October £0.99 selection already, and so doesn't appear in the 'today-only' list.

I read them as they came out, but stopped about 10 or 11. Like Harry, I think the first few were the best, although they would be dated tech-wise now. They did start to go downhill quite a bit, which was the reason I stopped. At the time, they were big with a lot of my nurse and doctor friends.

Today's 99p deal is a whole bunch of girlie romances, by Adele Park, Millie Johnson, Sheila O'Flanagan, and Cecelia Ahern. Not my cup of tea, but I'm sure they'll appeal to some . |

In a way I'm glad I missed yesterdays books as I'd have been too tempted by Coben & Connelly books. Thankfully I've already got most of the books from today's offer (Stieg Larsson, Lisa Gardner, Chris Ewan), but I have one Camilla Lackberg book that I've not read yet and there are 4 available today..... not sure whether to buy them or not. At this rate I'll have nothing left to spend my Christmas gift voucher on. Too many good sales before then! |

Romances are on offer today and over the weekend. Books by Kate Mosse, Judy Finnigan, Maggie O'Farrell, Victoria Hislop, Louise Candlish, Kathy Kelly, and Santa Montefiore. 9 books in total. At least I think they're romances. Some of them may have a crime/supernatural element to them too, looking at the blurbs.

At first glance they all look like romance, but I think they are more mystery/suspense books with stories about family secrets and scandals.... all popular female authors anyway. Got to say, been very impressed with this Sainsbury's sale. |
