I got the purple one as soon as I got the PW because I needed a cheap cover whilst I was deciding which Oberon to go for (and then wait for it to be made and arrive in the UK).
Then I got the turquoise one just before going on holiday because I do prefer to take a "wipe clean plastic" cover to the beach but couldn't find the purple one (it's somewhere in my flat, I'm going to have to thoroughly go through all the cupboards - I really can't remember where I put it all those months ago)
And lastly the brown-orange purely to try the cave painting on.

The PW is in the Oberon 99% of the time really and I only need one for the beach so the other 2 might get modified to take a notepad and pen or something rather than be used as PW covers

Don't worry Yolina, we are all case hoarders, and it all started with ONE person (that's right xendula, go in hiding and pretend the only reason why you are not answering right now is because it's the middle of the night in the US...)

I like you drawing too. I really like the inspiration coming from Lascaux .

Incidentally, how did you attempt the design of your cave painting case, is it just freehand drawing using ink or...? It looks pretty good.

Yes freehand

The case is PU leather - so mostly plastic - wiped it with some nail varnish remover to give it a bit of a key, then wiped with water, used some leather dye I had lurking about to do the background (the white balance on the pic is off, it's actually a much darker, deeper red) using a sponge and then used black acrylic paint for the deer. Once it's finished I'll spray a couple of coats of clear matt varnish.
