I've also found books I've loved on this thread and appreciate the people who post and discuss them.

I was hoping they would decide to go DRM free on their ebooks. I am glad I won't have to double-check which "side" I am signed in at any longer. Ha! I checked my wishlist and half the books on it I'd already purchased at the various Kobo sales. I tend to forget I have books on a wishlist at stores. I do so with ARe because sometimes the titles are listed in OmniLit but not ARe and it just makes them easier to find. But I'd obviously forgotten about Harlequin. I'm back. Not much pain so far thankfully and being knocked out was truly the only way to go. Thanks for everyone's well wishes, really appreciate it. Back to work tomorrow.

I find that even though I get several emails from various sources that give me links to free and bargain books, I most often click from here - I have a pretty good idea of what most of the posters' preferences are, so that culls out a lot of what would be 'junk' to me. In fact, often I won't click on a freeby found elsewhere unless or until I see it posted here. I just trust the readers on this thread, I guess...*hugs* So if I've never said it before, thank you all for the time you put into looking at the books and posting them here (you don't just post because it's free or cheap, but you make sure it's got SOME merit too!). And thanks also to everyone who posts those calibre, organization, etc tips! And the well wishes for those in need, that's just the best part of this thread. I hope it never goes away *more hugs*

I can't decide if I want them to also merge in Carina Press as well. On the one hand, having everything in one library would be nice and having Harlequin deals and codes be applicable to CP books would be great. One the other, I really like the way CP posts the next 3 months upcoming releases and would hate to lose that. Otherwise the sites are nearly identical.

For the record, I'm one of the boring ones who'd prefer a link list, since that's what I want out of he thread. however, i know I'm in the minority, so I'm keeping my mouth shut and ignoring posts without links in them.

Cowboy with a Cause by Carla Cassidy (Harlequin Romantic Suspense) is still free, but also Audible has dropped the price of the audiobook to $0.99 for those who have the Kindle edition. In case anyone's interested. Quote:
It's part of a Buy a Kindle Book, Then Upgrade with Narration for Just $0.99 sale that's going on right now. There are also a couple of self-pubbed books as freebies with $0.99 audio too... Shattered Promises by Jessica Sorensen (Audio) Quote:

That's got to be pen name for possibly an established author because that's what ePublishing Works usually publishes is backlist titles. I get leery when I see a name like this with no info on why an author felt the need to do something like this.
