I have over 400 purchased books I haven't even read yet, there is no need to add more to the already large free pile. Quote:
But unfortunately like you, 99 centers have become my new freebie one click addiction. Sigh. Last edited by Atunah; 09-10-2013 at 04:20 PM. | ||

I'm trying to figure how to get out of that stage. It's an addic...(I can't even say the word). Clearly the MYK page wasn't created for addicts. Or by anyone with a remote sense of organization. My Kindle collection is seriously out of control. And there's no way I can read all the books I have in one lifetime. Ah well. At least I'll die trying! |

I'm not sure you truly ever come out of that phase. In fairness, the likes of ENT and Bookbub have got much better at spreading the word about free/ bargain books - it's a bit like offering wine to an alcoholic. What chance do we stand? |

Well, I went through my 'A' authors and get rid of over 100. If do some everyday, I'll get done some day |

My library is a little over 4700 with 4000 still unread. I've been reasonably picky about what I add, a very large percentage of my freebies being previously published backlist titles. Between my custom "shelf" column and virtual libraries I see no reason to purge anything. I like to think of myself as glom-ready with all the backlist stuff. |

My problem is I missed a book I would love to have gotten for free a while back that hasn't been free since (at least, according to ERIQ, and they would know, right?), and I have this fear of missing something that I might really want to read. I blame my problem on ONE BOOK (which I of course ended up buying).
