A Good Charger for Multiple Devices?

We recently added two new Vox (Voxi?) to our digital household. We each now have eINK readers, cell phones, and tablets to keep charged. Our preference is to do all of this charging on our nightstands, so we can read whilst charging, if needed, have our cell phones doing their clock thing, etc. I have a feeling that our Voxi will sip the night away fairy often.

Has anyone found a multiple device charger they really like?

It's not what I need, though thanks, monkeyluis. Most of my devices charge through micro-usb ports and I am trying to avoid a snake-nest of cords on my nightstand.

What ever it is in NEEDS to have 2,000 miliamp USB jacks. Most tablets need that much power to have a reasonable charge time, and some (e.g. Samsung Galaxy Tab) will not even charge if the supply is less than that.

Well, on Amazon I searched for multiple USB charging ports and I found:

The user reviews say it is capable of 2,000 mA (2A) on a single port. I'm just not sure if it can deliver 2A on all ports simultaneously. Biggest complaint seems to be that it has a blue LED light that is too bright at nighttime in the bedroom.

Unfortunately the single gang box in the wall next to my desk chair, isn't deep enough for it to fit - this outlet requires a deeper box. My house is older and has shallower boxes. It fits in the newer boxes I installed when I wired the garage and basement, but that's not where I need it. So it is sitting on the shelf until such time as I do a big remodel project that includes wiring improvements for my home office.

If your house is newer and has more modern boxes, perhaps you can install this in the bedroom.

I personally just use the iPod AC to USB adapters. You can buy them dirt cheap online (I got 2 for like a buck fifty last time I ordered some). Only one per adapter, but being that cheap, shouldn't be that big of a deal.

Most of my devices use Mini USB, so that makes it easy too. For my 505, it will not charge over USB unless it is actually attached to a host device (basically, only on a comptuer), but I have a USB to barrel plug adapter for it (PSP shares same charger as the Sony Readers, and PSP USB adapters are cheap and easy to get).

I agree that iGo is the place to go. We have a Sony 505, a Sony 950 (each uses a different plug for charging), 2 cell phones (these are the same), and 2 headsets for the cell phones (these are different) that need charging. iGo was a great solution -- 1 primary kit and a couple of interchangeable plugs and everything can be charged.

Depends on the unit you purchase. The one I bought many many years ago can do two at once. It also came with an auto charger and a plane charger.
