I was never an Apple Fanboy but Apple products are where they are today because of Steve Jobs. It makes you wonder what else he may have done if he had lived longer. He battled his disease since 2003. A long and hard fight that he fought until the end. Apache |

Another obit of Mr. Jobs. He really was a pioneer in computers. We wouldn't be here at MR without him. http://www.king5.com/home/Steve-Jobs...131187433.html |

I was shocked when I first heard saw the feeds on Twitter. I couldn't help wondering if this is why he stepped down? Maybe he knew... Very sad news. I know Apple and Jobs had their share of critics, but the guy was a pioneer. Spearheaded a company that changed the techverse repeatedly. Tim Cook might make a very good CEO but, as the conference showed, he is not Steve Jobs. Whatever else he was, the guy was a presence. True. And since marketing, in many ways, is business, you could say he was one of the greatest businessmen of our time. |

He knew and so did those around him. He worked until he could no longer do so and stepped down because of it. When he resigned six weeks ago, I knew he was very close to the end and that he wouldn't make it to the holidays. It's always tragic to go so young.
