Closing on my house on Wednesday

I've been pushing the bank to give me a closing date on my house for weeks. It looks like it's going to be Wednesday at 1pm. It's just a little, old fixer-upper, but I'm suddenly as nervous as a long-tailed cat in a rocking chair factory.

And yes, the downspout needs fixing.

I'd be interested to know how much a house like that costs in various places. In this part of Denmark it would probably be around $260,000.

knowing the area would be crucial to answer the question. I could draw a semi-circle around my current location out to 50 miles and range from $50 a square foot to close to $700 a square foot

It cost me about 1/10 that, but it's been stripped on the inside. The house seems sound, but it's going to need a lot of work quickly, or I'm going to have a mighty cold winter.

Even with the needed repairs it looks like it will be a great place to live once you have things fixed up.

So, a two bedroom house and an attic which can be transformed to another bedroom, if I'm right..

I like the looks of the house, but I'd demolish that wall between the kitchen and living room and make it an open plan. Not sure what is normal there, but personally, I can't stand those small kitchens (our kitchen is larger than our living room

)

But it looks you'll have plenty to do! (but sadly somebody else already did the fun part: stripping the house!)
