Just ordered Pocked Edge from Woot. Do I run the setup before upgrading to Ermine?
So should I turn it on first and run through the four-corner procedure or can I upgrade it right off the bat? Does it matter?

I would advise using the PE for a few days before upgrading just to get to know the device so, yes, go through the setup procedure if only to be sure you know how to do it.

Then the main thing you need to be concerned with is that the PE is fully charged and plugged into the power when you do the upgrade.

Are people still able to upgrade to Dingo 1.13 if their units don't start out there? Just curious, what with the shutdown of the entourage website and all . . . .

To answer the last part.

Yes but it is a little more complicated - you use the golden update (which completely replaces what was there before) on a USB stick or an SD card.
