"Ghost Plane: and Other Disturbing Tales" by Suzanne Tyrpak - Recommended!

I don't know if this is where I should post this thread since I'm not the author of the book, but I think it's the most appropriate. I saw that there was not a thread for this new title, so here's a fellow author and story lover heartily recommending this collection of short stories from our very own MobileRead member, Suzanne. I wrote a detailed review on Amazon, but here I'll just say that it's an easy five-star book. |

				Highly recommend a stage play

I downloaded a play yesterday by a writer on this website. Bonnie Jo Douglas. the play is "He Haditcummin". I downloaded it on Kindle. I was hooked from the get go. Very funny and well written. If any of you are interested in reading stage plays I highly recommend it. Read the reviews on Kindle. All very positive. |

I'm still plugging along in War and Peace. I returned my Nook STR, so I'm lugging around my paperback copy. How do you change the font size on this thing? |

Moderator Notice Just to let everyone know that "Syncy Sister" is, in fact ... surprise, surprise, "Bonnie Jo Douglas". Really, some authors seem to be under the impression we were born yesterday. We DO know who you are... This kind of slimy tactics will NOT BE TOLERATED and will lead to an instant ban for anyone involved.

Huh....well that was an epic fail =P I'm still plugging away at Just After Sunset by King. It takes me forever to read a book anymore...used to just breeze through them in about three days. But that was before I had much else to do. Durned adult responsibilities! haha Has anyone read Full Dark No Stars yet? I have that one on my shelf and I'm thinking of giving it another go. |

(on one of the other boards I'm on an author tried this--only apparently forgot they were trying it and uploaded their real picture as an avatar--which, SURPRISE--looked just like the picture of the author whose book they were "enjoying"!)

I'm about halfway through an ARC of Neal Asher's upcoming The Departure. Loving every moment of it so far.

Since Mobileread has an author self-promotion area surely there is no need to use a pseudonym.

Even seemingly intelligent people, e.g. Scott Adams, have been known to indulge in sock puppetry. [back on topic] I'm still finishing off the last of the hooded swan books by Brian Stableford.
