I'm finishing up with Line War and then it's on to Embassytown by Mieville.

Just finished "Removing Edith Mary" by Anne Morgellyn. This is the second in a series of three about a girl who works in a morgue and I have enjoyed them both. I think the second one is even better than the first (Disremembering Eddie), so I have high hopes for the third. They are quite different and very hard to put into a genre although I suppose mystery would cover it, but they're more than that.

Just finished the Kingmaker, Kingbreaker series by Karen Miller. They were very good, although I expected a little more battles and magic. But highly recommend nonetheless |

I'm 50 pages in and still pretty confused about what's going on. One thing is sure Mieville does weird and wonderful worlds well.

Hm. Sounds interesting if a bit morbid. I've added it to my list. The cover is unfortunately kind of plain and ugly. It would not have caught my eye ordinarily. | |

Well, to be honest, I have just inherited about 5000 books from friends of my husband, and dumped them into a library that I am slowly digging my way out of. (nice grammar lol). I have SEEN a lot of books I would rather be reading than pruning with Calibre, but that said, I have The Borrower on my Kindle for iPad app and am enjoying it. It is quirky, and suspenseful enough to make you want to finish it. Review: Borrower by Rebecca Makkai |

I'm reading "True Grit". I'm only about 30 pages in, but it has been an enjoyable read so far.
