Personally I hope it's not a new generation of eReaders as I have only just got my 650!! I really can't justify buying another one so soon. |

Isn't it great that there are so many readers out there that people love and consider the best? Imagine how horrible it would be if we only had one.

Agreed! And although I have so far preferred the Sony readers, that doesn't mean that I don't appreciate other models as well. I'd love to have the new Kobo as a backup reader, or a Kindle.

Which features of the 650 do the Kobo and Nook have each? I don't need the storage card nor audio, but the 350 seems a little small to me.

Meanwhile I try to recall what I've read here on the boards. The Nook does not good with PDFs, has no landscape but six different fonts. The Kobo seems to do better with PDFs but has only two fonts. Both have wifi. Nook has some social features incorporated. Something about braggin what you read on facebook... |

For me this just mirrors a deep care for others, you want to keep them from spending money on what you think would be a mistake. Actually I like it when people here get protective about "their" company.

I might pick up one of the leather "envelope" cases for my Sony readers, though.
