Two new apps in EE store

Just FYI, two new apps have been added to the enTourage store... including one that will lock the device.

Beat me to the scoop! :P The Lock one looks like it locks app by app. I'd be interested to hear a review by someone that installs it as to whether this is a pain, or work fairly unobtrusively. |

You can also run the "Store" app on your eDGe and tap the "Apps" icon on the Store home page.

I tried the Meebo app. Downloaded and installed just fine but after I have added an account it won't sign in. Hence, I was not able to use its IM feature. Wonder what I did wrong or missed to do? | |

I've used Meebo before and it works fine, I prefer Trillian and use it now that there is an Android version. Go to http://www.meebo.com/meebo/ and sign up for a Meebo account, associate your IM accounts with your Meebo account and try signing in again. |

Hi Cheyenne. Thanks. I followed your instructions on the PC but got the same message when I did on the eDGe. It returns this message (I know I have the correct user name and password): Meebo could not create a connection with these IM services. These names and passwords may be incorrect or you may have signed into the services from somewhere else. |

Other than checking to make sure you are not logged in to Aim. Yahoo, MSN somewhere else - on your PC maybe? I don't know what else to suggest. For instance - when I logged on to Meebo it could not connect to Yahoo, I was already signed in on Trillian.

Hi, I have installed the "lock" app. By default it locked my settings tab, it did supply a password for me. Besides settings it also will allow you to lock: browser, network controls, store, calendar, alarm clock, and camera. I did not see a way to assign any other applications such as a journal or office documents. I understand the locking the settings and network settings and the store along with the browser. But the inability to add additional apps really limits its value for me. Regards, |
