i too was raised in a home where sex was not discussed and brought up through parochial school that did not have sex ed. its a wonder i ever even figured out HOW to have sex with my partner, nevermind understanding the workings of that alien thing of heterosexual sex.

i wonder what I AM A GIRL thought when they handed out condoms at school. did she think it was just to make balloon animals with?

haha, same here. i eventually did find out though, somehow

sex ed here is not very popular, seeing as this is a country practically run by the stupid church. the government wants to pass a reproductive health bill that would inform people of contraceptives and basically it's sex ed, but the church says it's evil and all that. stupid priests. they should try and live like one of the squatters, then maybe they can feel true empathy for those people.

That sad story points out, not how dumb she was, but how we've failed out children. And it probably started with her parents not being guided by their parents.

The parents, grandparents, and we as a society are, collectively, to blame.
