P.S. - Thanks a lot. When I went to the decalgirl site to find the picture of the one I have, I saw a bunch of new ones that I have to have.

That was my experience as well. Loved looking at it at first, then after a few reads pretty much forgot it was there. Only noticed again when people saw it and admired it!

These are gorgeous - my kobo is so boring and white, one of these would make it far more interesting!

Does anyone use one inside a case? I have an leather case and I'm not sure if the elastic strips which hold it in place would fit with a skin on (and it would hide the back of course). Case is similar to this: http://www.amazon.com/Kobo-eReader-L...8859135&sr=8-1

Mine's in a case, and I think that most people using a skin also use a case. A skin doesn't add any noticeable thickness at all. Go for it!

I never used a skin. Do they peel off cleanly, or is there a sticky residue?

They peel off cleanly with no residue.

I love the skins from DecalGirl, and they have a great customer service department. I have ordered prob 10 skins from them and I have never had a problem. They are really thin, so if you have a case you want to put it into it won't interefere. I never pay the extra $5 only b/c I don't see the reason to. I like they way they look already. If you type in GIMME10 in the redeem section you'll get 10% off.

My DX is also in a case, the MEdge Latitude. No problem fitting with the skin (the skin is REALLY thin, it shouldn't affect the fit in most cases. Maybe in a snug sleeve, it would).

I have this skin on my Nook:

It was kind of distracting for a couple of days, but it didn't take long at all for me to get used to it.

I got the matte finish because I knew the shininess of the regular skin would be likely to distract me. But plenty of people use the non-matte skins with no problems.
