treadlightly, last year Newegg had sales for Thanksgiving weekend and mid-December. My guess is that they will do so again this year. I suggest that you go over to newegg.ca and see what they carry, and then consider if you would be interested if the price dropped 30%. |

Technically that is not $10 off that is a Gift certificate for $10 off at a later date. So you have to go back and spend more money. It is nice but your Kindle or Sony will cost the same. I guess you could buy one on that day, get the gift certificate and go back later to buy a second one, if you needed two e-readers.

If I buy a Kindle at Target I pay $139 for product $11.50 for taxes $2.00 in gas to get there $152.50 total If I buy from Amazon.com all I pay is $139 and I don't have to deal with crowds, cashiers, driving, etc. There are not too many deals that I would venture out at 5:00 am on Black Friday for. Talk about mayhem! |

8.25% here in Texas (no income tax though ) I still stand by my Black Friday thoughts. It would take one heck of a great deal to get me out there on BF. I hate shopping on a normal day, let alone BF. |

Free gift cards for full price purchases only have value if they're from stores you normally shop at. | |
