And now I'm gonna take the thread down a different path and finally admit that I don't understand this whole karma thing. I even looked in the FAQ's and what have you, and I can't find it. I gather it's something one member can give to another when they've been helpful? (In which case, I don't see how I scored here!) So how does one go about giving out the karma points? Thanks, Maria

Short version: If someone helps you, says something that you agree with or like, or something that you think is funny, you can give them Karma points by clicking on the word KARMA below your avatar. You don't have to give them all the karma that shows when you click KARMA, you can give less. You can also add a short note saying why.

DEVELOPMENT!?! (sorry for the late-ish response, I just caught this little phrase) You NEED to get the project manager involved! It is the height of LUNACY to tell a user that a query they are running in a development database that a query they have tweaked as best they can that there is something wrong with the query. I mean there could still be a LOT wrong with your queries, but the PM and the Database architect need to get involved at this point and make sure you aren't uncovering some inherent design fault!

Purrs can't be spent or saved. They’re quite useless, except to the pet-er and the pet-ee. (Sp?) "But of course, you're a cat keeper" Only someone who has never been owned by a cat could make such a statement. Cats are aliens, mentally. They keep us around to do their bidding.
