Obviously not or it would have been done by now. As I understand it the eink itself is applied to the glass plate. Likely something to do with the conductive (or lack there of) properties of glass vs plastic.

Technology exists somewhere, but is not used for some reason. Maybe it would be a considerably higher price... or other properties not as good as the glass displays.

Even though I haven't broken a device so far, a device where you don't have to worry (as much) about broken displays would be a huge plus for me when deciding what to buy next time...

I want flexible display to make it less likely to break not silly flexible ereader that Russian company once sold. Probably extra cost and risk is why it has not happened yet. If Kobo or Kindle developed such a ereader they should have exclusive for ereaders for a year or more. Kindle probably had exclusive 6 inch HD eink screen preventing Kobo from using them until now.
