Download multiple files caught my attention. Off to give it a whirl.

![]() The inability to download a complete folder or multiple files was the reason I could never get into the dropbox app and what drove me to finally figure out how to use Calibre content server to transfer books into my nook color. Once I got a taste of wireless file transferring, connecting my nook color (or my phone) to my computer via usb just suddenly felt...wrong. ![]() Quote:

Highlighting PDFs
Anyone have a problem highlighting PDFs? This is my first time doing so. I've looked at the YouTube video in the Android Market. I'm not able to get it work as shown. The highlights won't "stick" to the text. I turn the page (after highlighting text) and the highlight is there. Like it's stuck to the screen. I've played with it last night and again today. Seems like a simple process. Just can't get it. I really need to get this feature working for research purposes. Lots of docs to go through. I don't want to buy ezPDF or Repligo at this stage. Like a nut, I passed on the 10 cents offer for ezPDF. I thought I purchased it months ago. WRONG.

I noticed the new update today. I normally just click update without a thought. Today I decided to view the details of the update. That's when I saw lots of negative comments. Really don't like the moving of the Dropbox folder. I won't be updating.

At least I figured it out. I only use CutePDF when I'm in Windows mode on my Mac. There's a Windows application I'm using that doesn't export content in PDF format. I have to "print" it using CutePDF. |

If you are not rooted, you should still be able to find the previous version to download on the net. |

Montano: Too slow to render pdf resizing
Yesterday while looking for a good pdf + epub reader, I stumbled on the Mantano reader. This looks like a good product as it mostly has what I need. I found a serious problem with it though and I am wondering if it is my settings or the problem with the product.
I was using acer iconia 10-inch android tablet (dual core). I found that when I read the book in landscape mode with horizontal fit option and scroll up, the bottom of the page takes about 1 to 1.5 secs to refresh and become sharp. This although does not stop you from reading the book, is a nagging thing that you want to avoid. I do not see this effect in the acrobat reader. I was wondering if anybody has seen this. Anybody knows of any other reader that can show pdf and epub (I tried aldiko but that won't work for me bcoz horizon fit mode does not work!) Last edited by skdutta; 12-25-2011 at 07:54 PM. |

I have had an issue with mantano (latest version from the market) in that I have a pdf where I turn on reflow and change the text size, but every time I go into mantano I have to do this all over again. It is not saving my changes. Is that a bug or am I just missing something.
I am currently using the free version btw. I guess there is no real difference between paid and free except for a small banner ad. |
