When you said "proportional to the font size" do you mean dynamically?

I have a minor annoyance at this moment with KSM: the main menu appairs now inside the window with arrows at bottom. Everything works ok besides this.
I have made no intervention except "normal use" and going to nickel/koreader/pbchess and back.
Any idea about what happened? Do I have to reinstall to get the usual main screen?

Yes, when you change the size of the font, the size of the buttons changes too. Thank you for testing!

Kobo Touch on 3.11

I am not sure whether I understand your description of how your menu screen looks now. I think it is exactly how it is supposed to look. Compare it with the pictures of the first post, which show version 02. Apart from the fact that the menu at the top has gone, not much has changed since. If your screen looks much different, please describe it in more detail or provide an image.

No it isn't different. I am pretty sure there was no frame before, but I may be wrong. Sorry for bothering about a non issue.

That was because before the home screen wasn't adapted for the HD or H2O resolution and the windows was hidden under the bezel

This might be, but libertango does not mention that he installed the test version, and from his profile I take that he has a Kobo Touch.

i use winscap with usbnet transmission books,
but ony write to internal storage,if i write to ext SD card, the winscap see'error code 4'.
my device: h20 ,FW:3.12
how can i fix it?

I use this when starting Koreader:

# remount external SD as RW
mount -o remount,rw /mnt/sd

I haven't tried it in onstart, which might work. Or for what you are doing you might want to add it to whatever starts usbnet.

If the usbnet you mentioned is the one in KSM, I guess it would be in "usbnet_toggle.sh".

Tanks,not this file,
the ksm mout sd script is ' mount -r -t vfat -o $MOUNTARGS $DEVNAME /mnt/sd ' in usr/local/Kobo/udev/sd line 26

I edit it 'mount -rw -t vfat -o $MOUNTARGS $DEVNAME /mnt/sd '

now all works ok

A few days ago I put Start Menu and KoReader on an Aura running 3.12 (patched). No problems.

So today I went to do it to a Glo running 3.11 (patched). After putting start menu on, it would no longer connect via USB. In SM I could enable USBnet but not USB (but it still didn't show up on the computer). In Nickel, I could not get the device to show up on the computer. Pin hole restart made no difference.

So I factory reset it, and now everything is working (3.12, patch, KSM, Koreader all installed).

What could have caused the error with USB?
