Do you shop at Kobo UK? It would only be £3 there.

USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand (not sure if they've added any countries to that).

I got the $5 VIP coupon and am thinking about it, but even at $5 I'm not sure if it's worth it or not for me. I only buy from Kobo when there is a decent coupon and those are few and far between these days so doubt I'd accumulate enough points for a free book. I looked through the free books for signing up and found the list to be uninspiring.

I have a book in the list (a new book) that it's 6.29$, so I've already paid it. Because I haven't gone to the list but looking for the book and watching if they have the badge. It's not the same.

I like that the coupon code for the free book with the VIP program is good for a whole year now. Last time they expired after a few months.

It gives more time if you do not like any of the books currently available.

Kobo Canada is having a Thanksgiving long weekend holiday sale, good through October 10th for a selection of books at $4.99 CAD and under. Some of the books are regular publisher discounts price-matched at other stores, but a number of others are exclusive sale specials.

There's a mix of bestsellers from the big publishers (including some Haruki Murakami and Philippa Gregory and Jodi Picoult at the $4.99 level), a lot of niche genre books from smaller publishers (some good Open Road sf/fantasy reprints at the $1.99 level, and some award-nominated Canadiana from our local small presses), and a scattering of indie authors' works as well.

Main promo page, with categories as follows: Fantastic Fiction, Contemporary Women's Fiction, Detectives, Sleuths & Police Procedurals (a lot of Kensington cozy mysteries at the $1.99 mark, if you're interested), Thrilling Page Turners (some backlist horror novels from well-known writers in here), Riveting Romance, History, Biography & Memoir, Health, Hobbies, Humour & Home, Discover Canadian Poetry, Science Fiction & Fantasy (some interesting titles from smaller publishers, such as award-winning Finnish fantasy author Johanna Sinisalo's translated work which was on my to-try list, and a Tanya Huff reprint of one of her old DAW books that I rather liked and got the last time it was on sale), Great Picks for Kids & YA Fans

Don't have much info on this one (exp, where valid, etc), but code 30OCT is good for 30% off.

EDIT: Looks like it's on books from this list...

Yeah I'm not sure on the details, it may be on books from a specific list. I got it from an authors newsletter due to it being valid for one of her books.

EDIT: Found the list...

It is from a specific list and ends today. It's for the Canadian Thanksgiving holiday.
