For screensaver there are two? mods available plus the cover trick (set time to $FUTURE, read "book" with your favourite cover, set time back to normal and it should keep displaying the cover from the future). The cover trick gives you a single image, whereas the mods allow you a random choice of many images.

What about sharing method? Only annotations sharing on Facebook? May be sharing Twitter and sending E-mail.

I second this. I had one of the screensaver mods on and it was working, and I quite enjoyed it.
Pre-3.18 even was even polite and cooperative enough to display the actual book cover when set up so in the settings, but allow the custom screensaver to come through when the book cover feature was turned now. Exactly As It Should Work(TM). But 3.18 seems to have broken the custom screensaver mod. I'll look for an update, but it seems it would be much less hassle to build this functionality right into the stock software. Heck, I'll even write the code for you guys if you need (or the mod creator(s) will)... or just make it simple and provide a hook for us by of doing a system() call to a hardcoded script path, and don't do your own sleep screen if the script returned with success (or just call the script _after_ you've done your sleep screen). PS: Where do I go to provide product suggestions? I would love a textbook sized reader for PDFs. I have both an Aura HD and a H2O (I need the screen real estate), but would be highly interested in a model with a bigger screen for use as textbook; preferably around full page (A4 - 14"), or at least some step-up. Carta (or better contrast), water proofing not needed. Number of pixels is up for debate, the current 1440 could be viable (gives 123 DPI at full A4 height, somewhat usable) - some increase would be even nicer of course. 2560 would give 219 DPI, 2880 would give 246. If that helps, I can promise I won't mind slow page turns. People wanting to read page-turners can do so on already existing devices with smaller screens. ![]() |

When creating a new collection and adding books, and adding books to a collection, provide an option/filter/or follow the library settings/or something to only show books that are on the device.

I wish for a software frontlight on/off button for H2O...
My classic Aura have a hardware button for that purpose and with a glance at the top right of my home screen I can tell if the frontlight is on or not... I, really, miss that option on my H2O... |

Do you know about swiping up or down the left side of the screen to adjust the light? You can do this while reading a book.

Thnx! I hope now for a update on indicator light icon. I think is much better if this icon disappears when the slider reach to 0%... (that happens when I press the hardware light button on my Aura...) |

That isn't going to happen. Without the light button, there needs to be something to touch to turn the light on. The sideswipe only works when reading, so for all other screens, the light icon is there to access the light control. The best you can hope for is a change of icon to indicate the state.

My only request for the Kobo H20 is this:
The library overview pages only display 6 books at a time. This is really not a good setup when you have a lot of books on your collections. You have to swipe over and over to get through your books. It would be great to add an option to have a simpler, more compressed view to display two or three times that amount of books at a time. I dont know if there is a workaround for this or if it has been discussed already. But it would be a very useful and very simple addition. |

![]() This is the same as you choose to remove multiple books from the library... I hope, also, for a checkbox on the far right side of title (like the "Add to the collection" menu) to help for such things... |

My future firmware request is customized page refresh (for example to choose either auto refresh after using the dictionary or not ) , as I use the dictionary alot and the page refresh after using the dictionary in 3. 18 is really annoying.it hurts me eyes.

I already used the patch and the page still refresh after using the dictionary.
The patch only increase the number of pages to more than 6 pages. |
