Sulk? Moi? Ha!
Here's a question... In the AMERICAN tv show "The Rockford Files," Jim Rockford was famous for making something in the trunk of his car, which later became one of the earliest consumer computer shareware programs and carried his name. What did Rockford make in the trunk of his (AMERICAN) car? (We watched the pilot episode for the series last night. That series ran from '74-'80, recreating the magic that 'Maverick' had but in a modern detective setting. Great fun! Download the series. I think you'll enjoy it, even if your British. Maybe. Excuse me while I go back to sulking.) |

I don't know about it being in the trunk. I remember him having it in his glove compartment. But it was a long time ago that I watched them. But he had a home printing kit and printed up fake business cards as he needed them. |

But Rockford did have his small One-Arm printing press in the trunk of his car, and would print fake business cards in almost every other episode. So often, in fact, that the first home software for printing your own cards was named "Rockford," developed by George Campbell of 'OsoSoft' Software. These days I can buy 30 different card stock papers (or plastics) already perfed for separation, but when 'Rockford' came out, you had to cut your own with a paper cutter! Paul, give us a question! The Rockford Files was shown on British television in the 1970s. A question. Hmm... Give the year that these crazes hit the big time. Three points for spot on. One point for one year either way. Bionicles are Lego. Sort of robot/animal characters.
