After realizing that there is no fruit growing on Rigel 7, I also looked it up. I've lived within a few kilometers of star fruit orchards and never heard the (correct) name used. Personally, I'm not a fan of star fruit, but it certainly is pretty.

Just for fun, cut an apple across, perpendicular to the core. You get a 5-sided star formed by the seeds. I had an old girlfriend who was a Wiccan who insisted on eating her apples from end to end just so she could see the pentagram.
