So dyscalculia is a new one to me, but I can see where it would be a problem. I feel that I have always had a mild case of dyslexia as well as being on the high functioning end of the Asperger syndrome spectrum. Of course in my youth actual diagnosis of these syndromes was rare. It was more normal to treat the child as being deliberately ornery and try and discipline it out of him.

Sorry no I don't. I may have known what the largest number any of my class was able to come up with back when for that set of numbers, but could not say now. I don't think any of us ever came up with an actual mathematical proof of the largest possible.

I was forced to work with a math tutor three nights a week for my entire high school career. My parents would scream, cajole, try to bribe me, ground me for weeks on end, I got sent to 'guidance counselors' to try to correct my 'lazy ways.' I was labeled "Classic Underachiever" because my IQ scores were so high that there was no reason I should not pass a math test. Except for Geometry (which was simply memorizing statements) I never passed a single math test once I got beyond basic arithmetic.

And as for the present quiz question... Gosh... these sure look like numbers to me....

OK, the hint is that the grouping of the letters is deliberately misleading.

It's nothing to do with postcodes or number plates, and no specialist knowledge (other than use of the English language) is required.

And the next three are

NT, HH, TH, ...

I really considered this a language question, but I suppose others might disagree.

OK, another clue. When I originally described this quiz I said it had nothing to do with numbers, but on a little more consideration, I realised I had to change that to arithmetic.

I suspect people are over-thinking this one. Don't try to analyse every last comma. Just look over the list and see what pops into your mind.
