I'm remember reading a story about a guy that tried a "system" like this at the blackjack tables in Vegas. He made a minimum bet. If he won, great, he makes another minimum bet. If he lost he would double his bet. He would then keep doubling his bet until he eventual won, and then he would go back to his minimum bet.

This system would actually work if you could keep doubling your bet infinitely, but as this gentleman found out -- you can't. Casino's have maximum as well as minimum bets. Eventually, you can't double your bet. You just lose, and when you do, you lose a lot.

Stick to poker. You don't have to beat the house. You just need to be better than the other shmucks at the table. Although, with the rake, you might have to be a lot better.

So this is another sort of quiz with multiple answers, with each correct answer gaining a point until all possible answers have been given, or the answers stop coming in.

Start with the following palette of colors: yellow, white, blue, orange, black, red, gray, green, purple, brown; ten colors total. Name a country whose national flag contains some combination of these colors; from one to ten colors, on the flag. The first person to correctly name a flag with a specific combination of colors (red, white & blue for example ) gets credit for that color combination and any subsequent answer with the same combination is disqualified as a repeat. One more provision is that one should stick to actual independent countries; no territories or protectorates.

Sweden - blue and yellow
Germany - black, red and yellow

Well apparently not too late to insert additional colors into my palette. So going by my source for flag colors and and attempting fair conversion of your added colors to the original palette your list revises to:

Red, white, green & black - UAE
Green, & red - Bangladesh
Red, white, blue & yellow - Malaysia
Red, orange, green & yellow - Sri Lanka
Blue & white - Israel (color pair already given)
Green, yellow, blue- Brazil (incomplete)

Well, sure! The 'blue' of the American flag is not the 'blue' of the Israeli or Swedish flag, nor is the red the same on the US and Sri Lanka flag. Actually, there are three different reds for flags, three blues, and 'gold' and 'yellow' are different colors too! Can't just lump them all together and call it accurate!

True to be completely accurate. However, I specified the limited palette to match my source for the correct answers. I will provide my source at quiz end. That and to eliminate over multiplication of possibilities (blue, light blue, dark blue, azure, . . .) and argument over what is what I decided to limit it to that. Not perfect, but it's just a for fun quiz in the Lounge forum.
