It's the red stuff Americans put on just about everything to cover the taste.

^No. While beans are a legume and not actually a vegetable, I don't think that would have been as controversial.

I know catsup is a pretty widely used term, but growing up, it was always ketchup for me. The whole answer to the question is why I termed ketchup the more proper word for this case.

While not a vegetable is definitely a pleasure. I love it. For me, many things are really just means to having ketchup: hotdogs, french fries, hamburgers...

It's similar to ketchup. You'd probably find it in the same section of the grocery store.

The Ketchup as a Vegetable Controversy. What makes me laugh and made me look this up is that there are discussions about Mt. Rushmore needing another face in it and Mr. Reagan has been suggested.

Well, I'm off to have a hotdog and get two of my servings of vegetables.
