I had to look this one up... But I could recommend the same occurs more often in public elections. I think the general population might benefit.

I think Orlok may have been suspended from school. His post before this one was a picture that has been removed.

I wouldn't have a cloo about local politics in the US, so stichy you will have to judge until Orlok gets back.

I guess if nobody gets it you will have to make a new Q

Well, no takers...

The problem with the election was that the elected official passed away several weeks before the vote... There wasn't enough time to take his name off the ballot, and apparently not enough people knew he was dead... so they elected him.
This seems to be a problem even for many officals who are still walking around. Someone needs to tell them to lay down.

Anyone have a good question? It's my bedtime so I'll pass the baton to someone who will be awake for a while.

Thanks, Pooh! I remember an item on our news about a candidate who'd died but still got elected. There was also a story about a dog, but it may have been enrolled as a voter rather than a candidate.
