humm... ok

Since i came here because of polynesia i will make a quiz about something polynesian (i do miss living there!)...

Fafaru is a typical dish made with a special juice and fish. This dish and juice is considered a delicacy but for many popa'a (white people) not that much... .

Why?

They allow fish to rot in a container with sea water, and then use the putrid water with rotten fish to cook the fish.... you can't imagine how many times i almost puked when i had to eat it the first time

Another thing is that they sell this "juice" in handmade bottles in the stores, calling it 'juice' ehehehe so anyone that does not know might buy it thinking that this thing is really juice from one of those wonderful fruits there eheheh
