Well, to be very frank, I was equally confused to see 'antidisestablismentarianism' as the answer given in the original puzzle. There must be some tricky point behind this, beyond my understanding because we know there are words like Floccinaucinihilipilification and Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis which apparently seem longer. But since pdurrant has given the exact answer as written in the puzzle, I think perhaps he could explain the trick involved.

Your reasoning is pretty strong, but its a case of cause and effect in a way. You may think something simpler like spelling 'r' for 'are'.

(I think the hints could be allowed at this juncture)
