I have cheated on 6 and 9, so I won't spoil other people's guesses. But a couple of hints won't hurt.

For 6. I'd add in that the woman didn't get the man's name or contact details.
For 9 I'd mention that there's a short pause between the barman pointing the gun and the man saying "Thank you".

9. hiccoughs are thought to go away if you scare the sufferer so the man has hiccoughs and the gun scares them away which is why he thanks the barman and doesn't need the water he asked for before

Let me re-write 6 a little bit to give more emphasis to the important bits.

6. A Suspicious Death

A woman’s father died of natural causes. At the funeral she met a man she had never seen before and fell in love with him. But she didn't get his name or number, and afterwards no-one she knew could tell her who he was, where he came from or how to get in touch with him again. A few days later, the woman’s mother was dead as well.

Can you explain what happened?

That is the right analysis!

It was clear that the woman fell is love with the stranger at first sight, in a desperate attempt to draw the mysterious stranger to her, the woman murdered her own mother. She hoped that he would attend this funeral as well, and she may be able to talk to him, take his contact details and so on.
