My comment was not directed to the delivery service, but to the reference to the company that prepare meals for Jon's dog.

Darn foxes have been at the bins again. Anyone else in the UK sick of the amount of bins the councils expect us to use for general and recycling etc? If it's not the foxes it's gulls, crows or just the wind turning the area into a litter strewn bomb site.

On a visit to see relatives in the Gold Coast my female friend was crapped on my a fruit bat. Humming the Bat-Man theme tune constantly for the rest of the holiday resulted in many retaliatory slaps.

Same here, actually. The number of different bins before our apartment house is probably reaching two digits soon. And foxes, gulls, crows, wind... yep. I know how you feel.

I have to agree. At one point we had 1 dumpster that everything went into. Then we added single stream recycling. Give it a couple of months and we added compostable/food waste bins. A bit later, the single stream recycling split into multiple streams. So currently we have 6 flavours of bin. Unfortunately, quite a few of the "recyclables" are not very recyclable and the municipal web page is keeping someone employed trying to keep their lists of what goes where updated.
I have to finding quite a bit of humour from that web page. Advice such as "You can also wrap your food waste in paper and store it your refrigerator or freezer". |

Hmm. I recently read somewhere that the stomach acid of humans is pretty potent and can digest a lot worse than the stomach acid of many other species. That probably is an indication that humans fed on carrion in the distant past...
Since reading that, I'm no longer so worried about eating stale/dated food. ![]() |

Yes, but in Canada or in other countries with similar climate it's actually a bit funny. No one I know stores their biowaste in the fridge/freezer here, for example.
