Unfortunately last week was busy with work and I wasn't able to purchase any directly from Sony. I contacted B&H and they do not carry the accessories and do not know if they will. I'll have to reach back out to sony and see where they recommend getting accessories. I may have to contact the NYC sony store to see if they would ship them.

Shopereaders.com will ship them I've asked for some bulk order pricing.

Anyone interested in a spare stylus too?

Depending on the price, yes. Having one as a backup wouldn't be too bad of an idea.

No more accessories from Sony's store. I went to B&H website but they are unsure when it's in. Couldn't believe that Sony logistics is so lousy.

Is there an opportunity to synchronise the DPT-S1 automatically with e.g. accounts from BOX or ONEDRIVE etc.? Did somebody have success with it?

The only cloud store that you can sync with is Box.com or any webdav that you create on your computer. But I think Box.com is the best solution right now, you have 10GB free store.

The way to sync with Box.com, you can find from google or even you can find it from sony userguide, I think.

The synchronization is not automatically. You need to do it manually sometime, go to Documents>Folders>Network you will see the sync icon on the top right next to the search icon, just touch the sync icon and wait. It works pretty well if you have a stable wifi.

For the stylus, the technology is wacom, so basically you can use any wacom active pen like Samsung S-pen. You need to calibre first to get the good result, I tried the Samsung Electronics Slate PC Digitizer Pen. It works well enough, not as perfectly as the sony pen, but it is good enough for taking note on article.

I think you're wrong and the tech is not Wacom's (only of the kind). I tried an Inutos pen and it doesn't work. There is plethora of those digitizers out there, each tuned to a different field, you're pretty lucky that the Samsung works, but as I recall the Samsung uses a different brand.

I have the link of Samsung pen on amazon
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Electr...ds=pen+samsung
It is wacom Wacom digitizer stylus.

I also tried Samsung S-pens (Galaxy note 2012 and Galaxy note 2014 since I have these devices with me), both of them work on DPT-S1.

And since I tried the stylus pens on different device that using wacom like HP and Lenovo Yoga, these tablets can share the same pen with samsung galaxy notes. So I believe that there is something universal here.

You are confusing the two different Wacom technologies. The Intuos pen only works on things like those writing tablets for PC's. The Wacom pens that work on the Sony are the ones that work on tablets with screens like the Samsung and the various other tablets out there with Wacom digitizers. The pens for the Intuos and the bamboo tablets will not work.

I was looking for spare parts over the internet... only found the official SONY price list:

"Electronic Stylus" --> 122 $ (ref : 1-845-158-11)

"Stylus holder" --> 21 $ (ref : A-2034-374-A)

" Replacement nibs with Nib Puller" --> 30.84$ (ref : 4-488-514-01)

Outrageously expensive!

Does someone have found other source with more reasonable prices ?

I just put together an awesome travel kit for my Sony DPT. I made a wooden sleeve slightly shimmed to perfectly fit the DPT with the Sony protective sleeve. Added to this is a Manfield Leather bag which completes the portability protection by fitting the DPT and Wooden sleeve perfectly in the bag.
I can't wait to have a day off and sit in a coffee shop reading :>
I'm such a dork.
Cheers,
Phil
