Is there any way to inject a script to the usbnetwork auto run script?

My PW2 is in a bootloop and usbnetwork script seems to run (but gives a "N E failed to set usb0 ip, this is bad" error).

I have a corrupted file. So if there's a way of running a script, I might be able to replace the corrupted file with the backup.

Answering my own question:
I just realized that the /mnt/us/usbnet/etc/config itself is a script file. So i could inject(insert) my script into it to replace the corrupted file.

@hashanga: First, how did you break it, exactly, because that might be interesting .

And second, yeah, you can either go with the config, which is sourced at one point, or even earlier, by putting an emergency.sh script in usbnet/bin/ (additionally, this will prevent USBNet from starting) .

OK, I must be doing something obviously stupid.

Trying to JB PW2. Unzipped contents of jb zip folder to main device folder and chose update kindle only to get 007 error (or update error 4). Tried this with both the snapshot r10177 and also with linked official release from this thread. Not sure where I am making a mistake.

Download the attached kindle-jailbreak-1.8.N.zip file, and unpack it. In here, you'll find a few files.
Unzip the contents of the kindle-5.4-jailbreak.zip archive to the root directory of your Kindle.

Now, eject your Kindle, and go to [HOME] -> [MENU] > Settings -> [MENU] > Update Your Kindle. The updater won't actually ever run, this is normal. After a few seconds, the words **** JAILBREAK **** will appear at the bottom of your screen to confirm that the device is jailbroken .

And that's it, your Kindle is now ready to install custom hacks!

NOTE TO PW2 OWNERS:

If the Update Your Kindle link stays grayed out, please reply to this thread with: the exact model of your device (WiFi/3G), the country it was bought in/shipped to, and finally, and most importantly, the first four characters of its serial number (Settings -> Device Info).

Hi NuLuJe, I've applied your V1.8.N JB pack on my KPW 2 as the instruction said but failed.
The KPW ACTUALLY RESTARTED to update the device but failed. I have to press the power button to forcefully restart the KPW.
Can you help me sort it out? Below are the details:
