I suppose the right arrow must be black, and permits to go to the link, no ?

Or perhaps I missed something...
It's working fine for me. The 'back' arrow should activate after following a link and the 'forward' arrow should activate after going back.

If that's so, what's the delay that should be set?

I know this is happening in settings but I don't know what you mean by "directory window".

No. I've set my device to power off after 1 hour of inactivity and I never manually power it off. It doesn't drain the battery.

I mean the dictionary popup, where the translation appears. (EDIT: how stupid I am! I have just realized I wrote directory instead of dictionary. Jeez.)

Yes, I used it in the same way earlier, but in the end I turned this off. It doesn't fit my reading habits. I rather keep the reader in your standby mode daytime, otherwise I have to switch it on more times a day (because usually I have more than 60 minutes between my reading sessions). Probably an "Automatic turn-off at specific time" option could help me, which could turn off my TL2 automatically for the night. (Even this function can be really smart, if it didn't switch off the reader blindly at the specified time but only when the reader steps into your standby mode after that specified time. So if it is set to 21:00, and I am still reading, I am not interrupted, but when I stop reading, the next standby would be a turn-off.)
This would be a very special wish, so I don't expect you to implement it. I was just playing with the thought. Anyway, I am going to test this battery thing somehow. Probably after a full charge I will leave the reader in your standby to check this "drain".

It should be doable. Bug fixing for now anyway.

once again, brucelee did a brilliant job. I just installed the v43 and I'm happy that the pinch-to-zoom-crash is gone for good.

One idea: how about an "About"-page or something like that as a new menu entry? I never know which version of CR3 I have installed on my PB and I do not know if there is any way to look that up on the device itself. A little "About"-page might fix that.

Just my 2 cents.

Hello ReaderGeek,

in the tap action menu you can choose "about", I think this is what you expect.
See attachment.

riiight! Thanks! I completely forgot about that "Main Menu" because I configured CR3 to show the "Menu" on a short center tap while the "Main Menu" is shown on a long center tap.

This community here rocks!

Two more questions:

1. will there ever be an English manual? The cr3-manual-uk.fb2 is still 100% Ukrainian

2. how do you switch the CR3 language (the menu-language)? Can't find that anywhere and my CR is talking German to me, I would prefer English...

I change the language thru the main menu of the pocketbook.

I don't think there ever was an English manual and I don't intend to do one.
If someone is willing to make one though, I'll be happy to include it in the app.

I've set the device to stay powered and it's been about 24 hours since then. It dropped only 11% battery. It was mostly idle.

LittleBiG's battery problem may be caused by an inexact battery indicator. At least on my TL2 the percentages are way off. Once the percentage falls below 40-50% it starts dropping further very fast. So, for me, 50% means 'almost empty' and 'recharge now'.

Strange. I didn't encounter such problems. Neither with TL2 nor TL3.

Thanks, probably you are right. (I had similar problem with my earlier Kobo Mini, the 40% meant the 10%, and 37% was the 0%.)

Thanks, I also started the test. When I am not reading, the TL2 is in standby mode. (So no lock, no turn-off.) The results up to now:
15 hours: 92%
24 hours: 86%
35 hours: 84%
It really seems that it is not a Coolreader issue.

One additional suggestion in the dictionary. When it is set to the short tap, it should take the tap position into account, similarly to the long tap. I mean, if I set it to the bottom part of the screen, the dictionary popup should appear on the upper half of the screen. In this way, using only two regions, I could reach any word translation by not more than 2 taps. (And I could free up the long taps.)
