Shouldn't the vacuum packed can have been opened at least 12 months prior to consumption for it to be properly matured... Quote:

ONLY if you include the mandatory deep inhalation of the aroma of the newly opened can, and the equally mandatory statement, "I LOVE the smell of fresh Coffee!"

Nothing wrong to energize ourselves as quickly as possible and work more efficiently for our bosses. I always wonder why so many people smoke or drink cheap coffee at 8 in the morning, why don't they just sleep one hour more? Isn't that healthier? Who made us feel good of being always "on the go" and always need to have all information in our pockets? Do we deserve some quiet time? BTW, in a developing country a basic McDonald's coffee may help a teenager experience "being modern" -- whatever that means -- because that what they see in American movies and TV commercials. Sad their healthier local foods suddenly stop being "modern". Don't we all live in the modern TIME despite where we are? Quote:

I am very surprise and disappointed that campfire sock-coffee has not been discussed in any way, shape or form in this tread so far. And you people say you like coffee....sheeeesh, you haven't lived until you have started your day at 10k feet with a fresh mug of sock-coffee that has been festerin..errrrrr...brewing for a week over the fire.

I had a friend who was a flight attendant for a cut price airline that is no more (whose name escapes me ... the airline, not the friend). He told of working the Mecca Hajj flight (back in the 90s), where fuel from pilgrims' camp stoves would sometimes leak from overhead bins.
