I wish they had a K4 case on Amazon. It seems there is only a select few brands. Marware, Belkin, JIVO and a few others to choose from.

That's strange. I could have SWORE it was in stock and ready to ship earlier today. I had it in my cart but I kept looking at that $59.99 price and I deleted it before ordering.

The non lighted one is available but it says it takes 3 to 4 weeks to ship.

Just got in a black Marware Eco-Flip cover for my K4NT.

1. The sizing seems to be right on in my opinion.

2. The quality looks good. I don't see any bad stitching or uneven seams.

3. The corner attachments are elactic, but covered with leather in the area over the reader. They hold the K4 tightly in place.

4. The inside of the cover has a slit for storing money, credit cards, etc. I probably ever use this, but some people may like it.

5. The inside cover also has a hand hold with elastic at the ends. It is pretty handy to use.

6. There is an elastic band that you can use to hold the cover open or closed. The elastic seems strong, but we all know that elastic weakens and wears out with use.

7. I wanted the flip style to hold the K4 so I can read it while eating. After playing with it, it turns out that the optimum angle for me has the distance between the top & bottom edges at around 9 inches. This is too far for the reader to stand as the edges slide apart, letting the reader go flat. You can see in the photo the angle I like. I'll probably have to get some Velcro to hold the distance correct.

That sort of style of cover would be quite nice for a touch screen. Just keep it propped up and a little touch/swipe of the screen and page turned.

You have renewed my faith in this cover! Yours looks very nicely made. I think I will get it whenever the offer comes out. Yesterday on Admasher I saw the offer on a screensaver so it doesn't look like it will be anytime soon. I have a 3Feet stand that I use for table top reading. It holds alot of things. I love it!

Well it seems tonight's adding books and reading did it in. I got the low battery message. My K4 is being charge for the first time. 21 days with heavy use, adding books, multiple reboots, and WiFi on is not bad at all! I get about the same with my K3. So I am very pleased. I suppose it would go longer with WiFi off.

So while it's been charging I've read on my K3. I really forgotten how heavy it is! I do like that I get more words per page though and I can turn the page one handed. However I miss my K4 terribly already but I do now see how having two Kindles is worth it when one needs charging.

I know they are suppose to be but the K3 shows more lines per page then the K4. It could be a firmware change...I'm not sure.

It's usually like 1 to 2 lines at the top and the 1 to 3 lines at the bottom. It varies by book and font settings.

In addition to font and text size, check your Line Spacing setting, and your Words per Line. If you've used the plugin to change your Margins or Justification, check if they are both set the same.
