pfd or epub are both fine, as long as I can read it on my sony reader and are able to buy it (even when I don't live in the USA...) Do you have a suggestion on where to look?

I posted in the What Are We Reading thread as well.
I've got those on my TBR list, and should be starting The Crown Conspiracy tonight.

The one I'm thinking of was set on a spaceship (mostly) headed for Nemesis (I think)--a new 10th planet. I seem to remember that for some reason the crew had to destroy the ship at the end, stranding themselves.

Any ideas?
You almost had it right.
Nightrider by David Mace
The enemy nation had set up a base on the 10th planet. Nightrider was a new stealth spaceship using an undetectable gravity drive. It was on a mission to destroy the enemy base.

For reasons I do not recall, the ship's computer goes all HAL-9000 on them and kills most of the crew, before the ship is destroyed.

I would like to hear what you think of it. I preferred the second, Avempartha to it. I read it out of order though, so I think it took away from the story a bit. I just bought the rest of them, but I have a few group reads to get finished and an ARC to review before I start the third.

I really liked both Shantaram and The Hunger Games. Shantaram is a long read, but a highly enjoyable one (not that the book isn't without its flaws, but it was good enough that I plan on reading the sequel once it is released). Once you read the Hunger Games you will likely run out and buy the next two books in the series and dive right into them.

I'll be sure to post my thoughts once I read it. Hopefully I'll start on it tonight, I'm off to finish off Elantris, which is a good read but has been dragging on too long for me due to the holiday season and various papers I'm working on.

I'm asking my mom for you, she's read pretty much every true crime book, or if she hasn't she knows the cases.

YES!!! Thank you! This has been driving me nuts for weeks. It's not available as an ebook, but I guess the DTB version will help ramp up the nostalgia.

Again, thank you!

Thanks, but is doesn't work for me either, to bad! I found several websites but they all only sell the book in the USA... So if someone has another suggestions

Does anyone know why some books are only available in the USA? I don't really understand since I could buy the paperback or bound version without a problem... what's so different about the e-book version?

There are many, many discussions about this on the forum. If you make a search on "geographical restrictions" or "geo restriction" you should find at least some of them. This is a bit off-topic for this thead.
