Personally, I prefer to use NickelMenu for actions that are not available from other GUI elements. My original NM menu ended up being a pain to use with too many actions stuffed into it. I find myself asking "How often do you need to use that action?' before adding it to my NM menu.

Is there any option to open the window "Add to collection" from the menu? Not the view, but the screen to add the book to the collections. Thank you.

on of the most useful features of NM is the USB connection. It allows to reestablish a USB connection without the need to unplug the USB cable. It's great for updating series and other info that needs another USB connection to Calibre.

I also really like the ability to reverse the screen. It means I can hold my H2O with my left hand the same way I do with my right hand and the cover will be correct.

No, unfortunately. That probably won't be happening anytime soon either since it would significantly increase the fragility of NM.

Yes, that was actually one of the first reason why I decided to create NM.

I use that to hold mine upside down so the thick part is on top.

NickelMenu v0.5.0

This release adds support for adding items to the selection menu. There is also an experimental configuration option to change the main menu icon.

Menu items can now be added to the selection menu. The current selection can be used in the action arguments along with optional transformations. See the documentation for more information and examples.
There is now support for an experimental `experimental:menu_main_15505_icon` and `experimental:menu_main_15505_icon_active` configuration option to set the main menu label on the new 4.23.15505+ bottom nav. The image should be the same size as the existing icons to avoid blurriness from resizing. SVG images are not currently supported. This option is experimental and may be removed or changed at any time.

Your info panel shows ClaraHD.
Existing icons for the Nav bar on this model are 42x42px PNG

I tried the new experimental icons feature using these 2 lines in the config file

The first line seems to work (after a reboot) but the nm_active.png in the second line never seems to get used.
