new user problem authorising device
Hi
I'm new to e readers, just bought a prs 600 but cannot get it authorised,
manual says a prompt should come up when digital editions is launched but this doesn't happen. Any one got any ideas.

Every thing I've read is to have ADE open then plug in the reader at that point It should ask you

tried adobe the computer is authorised but there is no screen to authorise the reader

Which operating system are you using? You may need to install Sony's Reader Library to get the device driver.

tried hard reset which has allowed me to authorise the reader but the transfer of files is taking a long time, thanks for the help.
