Suspense novel from Barnes & Noble and Kindle

Farraday Road, a Christian suspense novel by Ace Collins, is free to U.S. customers from Barnes & Noble and Kindle (see koland's post below for Kindle address).

Synopsis: It’s just another quiet evening out for Lije and Kaitlyn Evans. But somewhere along the way, it becomes something more sinister and a murder takes place. In the aftermath, a small-town attorney sets out to find his wife’s killers and uncovers a deadly conspiracy. A suspenseful mystery with a twist of faith.

Susan,

The reviews on these sites (other than the ones that say "amazon review" at Amazon) are generally under copyright and can't be reposted (at least, not legally) without permission and usually compensation. The synopsis (or at amazon, "product description") is generally fair use to post, as it is basically a press release from the publisher or author.

I know some sites will take down listings if you repost reviews (Amazon will also cancel an affiliate account for doing so; I suspect some places, like Publishers Weekly, might try to collect for posting their reviews).

Karen, thank you for letting me know. I thought by attributing the quote to Publishers Weekly that it would be ok to use it. I'll be sure not to do so in the future and shall change this description shortly.

Susan

Update April 11 - I sent an email to Louisa Ermelino, Reviews Director of Publishers Weekly, who responded (on a weekend, no less!) that quoting a PW review is acceptable so long as proper attribution is given.

This book is now also free in the Kindle store (US, at the least):

Farraday Road, by Ace Collins

Also, could a mod update the subject to reflect the book title?
