To help you with the decision, check out the forum 'which one should I buy' which also has a comparison matrix in the wiki.

For books check out the eBook library from MR. Sooooo many free books, lovingly formatted by MR members. That'll keep you reading for a while.

And if you have any questions regarding any of the readers you are considering, post them in the relevant subforum. MR members are more than willing to give you advice
