utf8 problem in the path adding books

The directory containing the ebooks cannot have utf8 characters ?

See following error:

ERROR: Chemin de l'erreur: Le chemin spécifié ne peut pas être traité.

('utf8', "D:\\Thib\\eBooks\\List\\Grang\xe9 Jean-Christophe-L'empire des loups(2003).French.ebook.AlexandriZ", 25, 28, 'invalid data')

yes it can. That filename is not utf-8, it's some other encoding.
