Kindle for Mac

Any body know if the kindle for Mac is coming or is it going to be shelved?
Shelved because of the Apple ipad. Personally i will be getting an ipad, but i will also be keeping my kindle. It would be even better if i can, when i choose to read content on both devices especially the content Ive already bought from amazon.

Any comments?

We're working on a Kindle for Mac application, which will be available in the next few months. It is really very difficult for us to mention the exact time frame when we would launch the Kindle for Mac app. If you'd like us to e-mail you when Kindle for Mac is available, sign up for that e-mail notification here:
