I just found the "Introduce Yourself" thread, so I've sort of been quietly watching in the wings. Now I'll introduce myself!

I'm Maureen. I have written two romantic suspense books with very diverse geography. One on the coast of Maine in the heart of a nor'easter. The other on the coast of Oahu in the heart of the summer (well, heck, it's always summer there)

I'm happy to meet everyone and look forward to jumping in and mingling.

I don't understand the "romantic suspense" genre. I confess I never read romance (hell, I just ventured back into fiction). Does "suspense" refer to the romantic relationship, or is it like a thriller with a romance in the plot? I'll check out your website.

Hello across the border to VA, WT! I'm going to the Virginia Tech game Saturday!!! yeay!

Superlucky, yep, the proper definition of "Romantic suspense" would be a thriller with romance in the plot. I have to keep myself engrossed when I write...so I need to throw action into my romance to keep me on edge. All I can do is hope that there are others like me out there.
