I recently jailbroke my Kindle Paperwhite 11th Generation (firmware 5.18.2) using AdBreak, and while the jailbreak initially seemed fine, I’m running into several issues with the library:
Some of the scriptlets are not appearing in my library. Normally, deleting a book or document removes it from the library, but now deleted items still show up, even in Store Management. Re-deleting them has no effect. When I connect the Kindle to my PC, the files are actually gone, yet they still appear in the library. New scriptlets won’t show in the library. Books sideloaded via Calibre do not appear in the library, regardless of format. Books sent with Send to Kindle also fail to open. I’ve restarted my Kindle about six times, but the library still does not reflect any changes. Currently, there’s about 734 MB of “phantom” data that should ideally be 0 or close to 0. Has anyone experienced this after an AdBreak jailbreak? What can I do to fix the library so it properly updates and shows all books and scriptlets? Thanks in advance! |

If anyone is interested, apparently it was a bug with the hotfix version, so use 2.2.1 instead. That fixed everything

You should simply follow the classic steps of installing an hotfix:
- (Turn on Airplane mode THEN de-activate OTA blocker. Leave airplane mode on for the remainder of the operation) - (Restart kindle (not a factory reset, just press the power button for some time), though I'm not sure if that's necessary) - Download the 2.2.1 hotfix (https://github.com/KindleModding/Hot...ses/tag/v2.2.1) and copy it to the root of your kindle - eject & unplug kindle - On your kindle, go to Settings->click the 3 dots at the top right corner->update your kindle - Run hotfix (click on the run hotfix book, search it in the search bar ("Run Hotfix") if you don't see it) - Re-activate OTA blocker (and only once it is done running may you re-activate airplane mode) I have myself successfully done this operation on a kindle PW 12th gen, and suddenly all books (and .sh) I had downloaded appeared in my library (because these didn't show otherwise) Hope that helps.
