Unable to download metadata

Hi everyone,

I've been unable to download metadata or covers for quite some time now. I’ve already checked my firewall settings and even temporarily disabled everything for testing, reinstalling calibre but the issue persists. Every time I try, I get the same error.

Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this?

Thanks in advance.

One acquaintance of mine ran into an issue where his root certificates on a Windows computer were showing as corrupted. They used the GUI from Root-Certificate-Updater to download and install the latest root certificates and untrusted certificates and that cleared up their issue.
