Newbie help - library
Very new to trying out Koreader. First question I have is when I start koreader it shows directory of authors. Is there a way to get a library view with covers and sort options?
Is there a website or something detailing how you can configure koreader and tips and tricks? |

Yes, thanks for pointing me to the guide it should help with other questions I have. The first part of my post is that I was hoping when KOReader starts up it could show me my library with various sorting/filtering options available. As it is right now I simply see a directory structure of author names.

There is no filtering, only a file manager with a search.
You can create collections Or use calibre to upload calibre database and search that |

Start options are only open in a book, open in a file manager, or open in a collection.
To set that, go to file manager, top menu, first tab |

I can't remember if it was a Calibre setting, but I just have all of my books sent to a single folder on my Nook (no author directories) and then I set that folder as my Home folder in KOReader. Within KOReader, I set that folder to display in mosaic view to display a grid of the book covers.
Just a personal preference, but I have KOReader set to start with the last document that way it opens straight to whatever book I'm currently reading. |
